About My Clients
my clients (~497/500) For years I've worked with people who feel deeply, notice everything, and often grew up being told they were "too much." Over time I've seen how much these tender, perceptive traits overlap with what we call neurodivergence. Many of my clients also carry trauma from their earliest relationships. If you've spent your life managing how you come across and doubting your own experience, you'll find a place here to set that down
My Background and Approach
For sixteen years, I've helped people heal from relational trauma and grow into a fuller relationship with themselves. My work is deeply informed by Jungian depth psychology and Buddhist practice, and by my own life as a writer and longtime contemplative. In sessions, I listen for the core feelings beneath your words, and for the images that arise in your dreams and waking life—images that often carry meaning words alone can't yet reach. By reflecting those feelings and images back, I help you understand the journey you're on: what's at stake for you, what your psyche is reaching toward, and how you might act on your own behalf. Much of this comes back to relationship—learning to trust your own experience, honor your needs, and advocate for yourself with others. Because I'm neurodivergent myself, the work is thoroughly neuro-affirming: unhurried, curious, shaped around how your mind and heart actually work, not how you've been told they should.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens, first and always, inside relationship. Carl Rogers showed that when a person is met with genuine warmth, honesty, and empathic curiosity, something in them relaxes and begins to grow—almost on its own. So my first commitment is simply to offer you that kind of relationship: real, kind, unhurried, and deeply interested in your actual experience. I also draw from Buddhist and Jungian psychology in believing that at the center of every psyche is an organic self—a kind of silent partner that is already inclined towards healing and growth, and is constantly sending messages (through dreams and felt experiences, about our way forward. My work isn't to install anything from the outside, but to help you listen for that quieter voice and trust where it's leading. Much of therapy, as I understand it, is learning to hear and trust it again.
