Transitions, anxiety, depression and OCD can make us feel isolated and unable to recognize the path to a meaningful life, let alone the steps that will get us there. Sometimes we just need some guidance and perspective. I want to help you discover your strengths and build your confidence to overcome the challenges you face.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with many adolescents, adults, couples and parents in your same shoes. My goal is to help you gain confidence by developing skills in communication and holding boundaries. During our work together, I will challenge you to analyze you values and the barriers that keep you from them. We will develop specific plans that will ease your uncertainty and outline the steps leading to your values. I will seek to understand where you are at, what has led you to this point, and how you want to move forward. I want to explore your healing journey alongside you and not from a place of judgment or fixing. We will explore the mindfulness and calming techniques that work for you when you are experiencing change, distress, hopelessness or uncertainty. You'll gain the perspective and skills needed to live a fulfilling life with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The human experience is messy and is difficult to navigate alone. The good news is, you don't have to! We all face challenges that rock our core and make us question who we are, our values, our paths, and how to get where we want to be. These challenges can result in anxiety, depression or grief, and exacerbate OCD, relationship issues and eating disorders. We all move through difficulties in unique ways, and I want to help you find and grow your most productive and healthy coping skills.
