About My Clients
Maybe you’re used to being the strong one — the one who gets things done, takes care of others, and keeps moving forward. But lately, you’re exhausted, anxious, or wondering where you went along the way. Or maybe you and your partner keep having the same arguments without feeling truly heard or understood. I help women and couples slow down, understand the patterns keeping them stuck, and build more connected, grounded relationships and lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed care, systems thinking, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Rather than simply focusing on “fixing” symptoms, I want to understand what’s underneath them — your emotions, relationships, experiences, and the patterns you’ve learned along the way. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and curious. We’ll work together to better understand yourself and your relationships, make sense of patterns that may no longer be serving you, and create meaningful change that feels sustainable. My goal isn’t to tell you who you should be — it’s to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and more intentional in how you show up in your relationships and your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a child of immigrants and a woman of color, and I know firsthand how complicated it can be to navigate family, culture, identity, and the expectations we carry. I’m also neurodivergent and in a neurodiverse relationship, which has deepened my belief that there is no single “right” way to experience or move through life. I believe healing is a journey that comes in waves. Emotions are like water — they aren’t inherently good or bad. We can’t always control the waves, but we can learn how to ride them rather than fight against them. To me, therapy is about creating space to slow down, get curious about what you’re experiencing, and find a way forward that feels authentic to you. I strive to create a warm, inclusive, and affirming space where you can show up as your whole self — without judgment or needing to have it all figured out.
