About My Clients
My ideal clients are children (8+), teens, and women who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or carrying the weight of past or present experiences. Many come to therapy navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship or family stress, attachment wounds, or challenges with understanding and regulating their emotions. I also support individuals and families impacted by autism who are looking for guidance, understanding, and practical tools to help daily life feel more manageable.
My Background and Approach
help clients work through trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I understand how isolating and heavy these experiences can feel, and I strive to offer a grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure to have it all figured out. In our work together, I integrate EMDR (trained through an EMDRIA-approved program) to help process trauma, CBT to gently challenge and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, IFS to explore and heal the different “parts” of yourself that may feel stuck or in conflict, and DBT to build practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships. I tailor therapy to your needs and pace, honoring where you are in your process. My goal is to support you in finding greater clarity, emotional stability, self-understanding, and empowerment in your life and relationships. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in a safe, genuine, and collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and never judged. I don’t see clients as “broken,” but as people who have adapted to life in ways that once made sense and may now feel overwhelming. I am committed to providing services to all individuals and do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or background. I strive to create a respectful, welcoming space for everyone. I believe each person has the capacity for growth and healing. Therapy is not about rushing change, but about understanding your story, emotions, and the parts of you working to protect you. I approach therapy with curiosity and compassion, meeting you where you are. I integrate EMDR, CBT, IFS, and DBT in a flexible, person-centered way. My goal is greater self-understanding, emotional steadiness, and empowerment in your life and relationships.
