About My Clients
Most people are facing stressors and pressures in life that leave them feeling stuck. Whether you're experiencing new anxieties or have struggled with them much of your life, are entering a major life transition, or are wrestling with loss and pain from your past, I can work with you to identify new tools, break the difficult cycles and find more ease.
My Background and Approach
I have 13 years of experience in a variety of therapeutic settings. The wide range of experience has brought me to serve my clients with an individualized and integrative approach informed by ideas of mindfulness, embodiment, and experiential learning. I have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and approach my work from a trauma informed and culturally responsive perspective.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a deep conviction that the unhealthy and sometimes not so wonderful parts of people come from places of brokenness. It's through curiosity and empathy I hope to help people find healing and live their most fulfilling lives. I love the outdoors and find there is a lot of power in connecting with nature, especially through movement. I am affirming of all faiths, sexual and gender orientations and culturally responsive.
