About My Clients

In relationships and families, it’s common to feel pulled between the desire for closeness and the need for independence. You may feel trapped in cycles of conflict and disconnection. Therapy can help open new ways of understanding and relating to one another. I work with clients to recognize each other as whole, dynamic, and complex individuals, and to build ways of interacting that support agency, mutual respect, and care.

My Background and Approach

My therapeutic style is authentic, tender, and often playful. I value the unique connection I build with each client and strive to create a space where you can show up just as you are. I welcome clients of all gender identities, races, and cultural backgrounds, and I approach our work together with curiosity, warmth, and respect for your lived experience. I see the goals of therapy as finding greater freedom and creativity within ourselves and in our relationships with others. These aren’t boxes to check off, but directions we move toward together. My role is to help you identify your path and walk alongside you as you explore it. I honor both your resilient, gifted qualities and the wounded or vulnerable parts of you that may also need care and attention. In our work, we’ll focus on the present moment—recognizing that we carry our past and our imagined future with us, in the here and now.
