About My Clients
I work with teenagers through older adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, body image issues, and relational trauma. I also work with families navigating older adult-specific issues. I also work with clients struggling with family Conflict, Dementia and Caregiver support, Geriatric Mental Health, Suicidal Ideation, women's health issues, and gender and sexual identity-related issues and stressors.
My Background and Approach
My work is centered around supporting my clients in living a life with meaning, joy, and purpose by working together to address what may be getting in the way. In our sessions, we will give attention to the symptoms you’re dealing with while also addressing the root(s) of your struggles, individually, generationally, and/or systemically. Always compassionate, respectful, and optimistic, my approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive. I may incorporate body-centered psychotherapy and mindfulness, as stress affects the entire body. As an integrative therapist, I draw from ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) to inform how I work with my clients. For Anxiety & OCD, I also utilize ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention) interventions. I integrate these evidence-based approaches with your own wisdom and experience on this journey.
