About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who are going through life transitions, struggling with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, or trauma. One of my more unique interests is working with individuals who have been diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases, caregivers, and children of individuals with neurodegenerative diseases.
My Background and Approach
I consider myself to be an eclectic, person-centered therapist. I pull from a lot of modalities, but some of my most used modalities are internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and, of course, play therapy! My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can grow and change at any point in time. I firmly believe that regardless of race, gender, age, religion, and ethnicity, mental health care should be accessible and stigma-free. I strongly value the therapeutic relationship and believe that for therapy to work, there has to be a good foundation between my clients and me. That being said, I ensure that the space we create is respectful and that clients maintain their autonomy throughout our work together. You know yourself better than I do, and your insight is incredibly valuable!
