About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families and am passionate about helping clients reach their goals. Special areas of interest include trauma, life transitions, relationship conflict, premarital counseling, and couples contemplating separation or divorce. I have found that a genuine and compassionate therapeutic style can assist clients in finding courage within themselves to navigate their life journey with confidence.
My Background and Approach
I utilize the tools of self-compassion, mindfulness, ART - Accelerated Resolution Therapy (advanced trained), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method (level 3 practicum trained), and structural family therapy to assist client/s in reaching their goals. Additional approaches are integrated into sessions to best meet each client’s individual needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe a compassionate approach and trusting relationship is essential to achieving growth. Together we create a safe environment to allow space to explore underlying patterns and road blocks and to inspire healing.
