My Background and Approach
At Leah Benson Therapy, I use body-based psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and life-coaching. My deliverables could be described as SMALL, MEDIUM, and LARGE. I define SMALL as crisis intervention; we address your immediate concerns. MEDIUM is support and relief. Giving you an outlet for your daily life. And LARGE; those are the deeper issues covered in my book, Emotional Utopia – Stop Searching for Happiness and Start Living It.

I believe in providing my clients with the best experience that psychotherapy has to offer. That’s why I stay abreast of the latest in cognitive science; i.e. predictive processing and the theory of constructed emotion. Why? Because this new paradigm empowers us to become the architects of our mind.
