About My Clients
She specializes in working with teens, young adults, and adults. That are experiencing all of life’s challenges. Which could include but are not limited to anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, acute/complex trauma (including generational, systemic, and historical), mild to serve depression, attachment or abandonment challenges, and frustrated with where your life has taken you.
My Background and Approach
Lea attended the University of Kansas for undergrad and then National University for graduate school. She began her clinical training with a play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral lens then added on with solution focused, narrative approach with elements of internal family systems, attachment-based, somatic body movement, mindfulness-based treatment, acceptance commitment therapy and brain spotting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Lea believes that in order for organic and long term healing to take place, a strong therapeutic alliance needs to form and be assessed over the course of treatment. Her framework is culturally humble, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based.
