Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Decatur, GA

About My Clients

I support women navigating postpartum depression & anxiety, birth trauma, fertility challenges, PMDD, perinatal mood disorders, and the emotional weight of life transitions. My ideal client is a woman who is overwhelmed, exhausted, healing from trauma, or carrying more than she can share. You deserve a space where your story is heard, validated, and supported with care tailored to your unique journey.

My Background and Approach

I'm a nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in women’s mental health, reproductive psychiatry, and trauma-informed care. My clinical background includes maternal mental health, infertility and IVF-related emotional distress, PMDD, perimenopausal mood changes, and the psychiatric impact of chronic conditions like endometriosis. My approach blends evidence-based medication management with holistic, supportive, and culturally responsive care. I integrate lifestyle strategies, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and when desired faith-informed guidance. I believe women heal best when their emotional, physical, hormonal, and spiritual needs are recognized. Clients often share that I help them feel seen, validated, and understood during some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives. Together, we create a clear, compassionate plan that supports your healing and empowers you to move forward with confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in creating safe, judgment-free spaces where women can be fully honest, supported, and human. My work is deeply shaped by my own experiences with endometriosis, infertility, and navigating emotional trauma, which fuel my passion for helping women reclaim their voices and wellness. I am an advocate for women’s health equity, maternal mental health awareness, and reducing stigma around postpartum and reproductive mood disorders. I support trauma-survivor empowerment, faith-based resilience, and culturally sensitive care for women of color. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy creating educational content that empowers women to understand their bodies, hormones, and emotional patterns. I believe healing is possible, transformation is real, and every woman deserves compassionate, accessible mental healthcare
