My Background and Approach
I have been a practitioner for over 10 years, working with people seeking recovery from addiction and mental health issues. I specialize in serving individuals experiencing homelessness and people managing chronic health conditions. I also have expertise working with people who are survivors of trauma. I enjoy working with clients who are diagnosed with relational difficulties, depression, anxiety and hoarding disorder, utilizing a strengths-based perspective.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide home-based services and am a believer in meeting people where they are in the truest sense. I hold an unwaivering belief that recovery is within the grasp of those who seek it and is facilitated through the therapeutic alliance with a good therapist. I practice from a trauma-informed, non-judgemental, racial justice framework. My clinical work is informed by the perspective that systems and social conditions have contributed to much of the human suffering that people endure. I believe that all people are intrinsically good and worthy!
