About My Clients
I enjoy working with older adolescents and adults who are seeking greater balance and self-understanding. Together, we'll explore the patterns and external factors that may be contributing to challenges with mood, perfectionism, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, identity, and emotion regulation, while helping you create lasting, meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), relational therapy, and feminist therapy. I am passionate about creating an affirming and inclusive space where clients of diverse racial, gender, and sexual identities feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe therapy is built on a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel safe to explore your experiences and develop practical skills to work toward a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The values that guide my work as a psychologist extend beyond the therapy room. Throughout my personal and professional journey, I have been committed to supporting and advocating for communities through volunteering, community engagement, and educating myself about social injustices and systemic inequities. This work and my lived experiences have shaped how I understand the impact of identity, culture, and larger systems on mental health and well-being. Due to this, I strive to show up with compassion, humility, and cultural responsiveness in honor of each person’s lived experiences.
