About My Clients

Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying the weight of anxiety, grief, depression, or simply, life's unexpected changes. I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD/trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply trying to find your way through a difficult season, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin healing.

My Background and Approach

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you can show up as you are and feel empowered to create meaningful change. My goal is for you to have something that you take from each session. I use a blend of talk therapy, worksheets, videos, and images to help provide education in session and give you an opportunity to practice the tool or focus on building the skill in between sessions. I am committed to helping you build resilience, strengthen self-understanding, and move towards a life that feels more balanced, grounded, and fulfilling.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Every person has a right to feel seen, be heard, and understand themselves on a deeper level. I have a passion for working with individuals who may not have had the opportunity to do that in traditional ways with their family, friends, or environment. Therapy also shouldn't be a dry space and I bring my personality into the session through humor and warmth. I served as a member of the NJ HIV Planning Group (NJHPG) which provides community-generated, data-informed recommendations for responding to the HIV epidemic. I also served as co-chair of the Governance Committee within NJHPG ensuring that the needs, concerns, and issues of people at risk or living with HIV were represented within its membership.
