About My Clients
I work with thoughtful, reflective adults and couples who may feel stuck, disconnected, or who are harder on themselves than they’d like. You want more than a script, you want a real collaborator who will be candid, warm, and genuinely engaged. Together, we’ll explore your patterns, relationships, sense of self, goals, and life stressors to deepen your understanding of who you are, what you value, and what you want to change, while building practical skills for a more meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA and NJ, practicing in person in Philadelphia and Newtown, with telehealth available throughout both states. My three master’s degrees bring a unique combination of critical thinking, problem-solving, empathy, and emotional intelligence to my work. My style is best described as being supportive, direct, playful, and challenging. My approach is trauma-informed and pragmatic, drawing primarily from psychodynamic therapy, family systems, and DBT. With couples, I help partners hear each other rather than continue to litigate. With individuals, I help you see the patterns you’re inside of so they stop running you. I also am trained in sex therapy, allowing me to work directly with sexual concerns, low desire, sexual trauma, diverse relationship structures, and more. There is nothing off the table for us to talk about. I believe that recognizing challenges fuels growth and uncovering their roots elevates control. Let's have a candid conversation.
Why I Became a Therapist
I think a lot about how rarely people get to talk honestly about who they are, what they like, what they believe, and what’s really happening in their relationships. Getting to create that kind of space for someone to share about those things without judgement is a privilege. I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a place where they don’t have to perform, edit themselves, or have all the answers. Therapy works best when it’s honest. Real candor, delivered with care, is more useful than a therapist who stays neutral about everything or simply tells you what you want to hear. I’ve built my practice around being the kind of therapist who can sit with whatever you bring, without judgment, without flinching, and without needing to make you fit a particular mold. My job isn’t to tell you who to be... It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply, see what’s getting in your way, and decide what you want to do about it. Schedule a free consult call.
