Anxiety often shows up as feeling constantly on edge, overthinking relationships, or never fully able to relax, even when nothing is apparently “wrong.” Many of my clients experience anxiety as the cost of over-adapting, code-switching, or trying to stay connected in environments where they never fully feel at home. Together, we work with the nervous system to create more safety, grounding, & ease in your body & daily life. I also work with eco anxiety from a climate-aware lens.

Intergenerational trauma can feel like carrying emotional patterns, survival strategies, or unspoken grief that aren’t fully yours, but still live in your body & relationships. This may show up as chronic hypervigilance, emotional exhaustion, or feeling like you don’t fully belong in your family or culture. We gently explore what’s yours to carry, & what can be released so you can feel more grounded and free.

Chronic pain & illness often impact more than the body. They can shape identity, relationships, & sense of belonging in the world. Many people feel misunderstood, isolated, or disconnected & having to live with symptoms only makes the experience worse. Using a somatic, trauma-informed approach, we resource your nervous system in finding more regulation & resilience, while supporting sustainable self-advocacy in a medical field that often gaslights or dismisses what is not normative.

Ecotherapy creates opportunities to “knit together” your deep internal work with the way you move through the world. As a climate-aware therapist, I support you feeling more present & connected to the living world, grounding in the strength and nourishment this planet has to offer even when pain is also present. I pay close attention to your relationship with places, plants, animals & environment, and may invite you to try on nature-based practices like earthing, or to co-create rituals.

By integrating IFS-informed "Parts Work", I help you make contact with parts of yourself that show up (or blow up) to protect you– even if their strategies are backfiring. We will be radically compassionate, welcoming all your complexity & contradictions to find their role in the healing process. This work will help you regain the clarity & confidence of a "Self" that can take the lead in resolving stored traumas within you– or, for couples, those being enacted in your relationship.

I use a holistic somatic approach that is gentle, invitational, & "sneaky powerful." As an SEP, I support trauma resolution by helping reclaim your innate capacity for nervous system regulation & moving from flight/flight/freeze back to restoration & resilience. We'll get in touch with sensations & movements that have been blocked & draining your energy, finally releasing them. There’s no need to relive the trauma story– we'll work with what shows up in the body & heal it in the here and now.
