About My Clients
You deserve to feel validated and supported as you are. I foster a warm and open space free from judgment. My goal as a 2SLGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, larger bodied therapist, is to provide an inclusive environment for individuals of all sexual identities, genders, abilities, races, ages, and body sizes. You are the expert on your life, and I am here to walk beside you on your journey. We work together via a telehealth platform to support clients all over the state access affirming, supportive care.
My Background and Approach
I am a Counselor and Art Therapist who provides person-centered and empowerment-based counseling for diverse populations throughout Georgia. I have specialized training in social justice work, supporting clients through processing trauma, and advocacy. I use a variety of techniques such as art therapy, empowerment, nature-based interventions, humanistic, mindfulness, person-centered, CBT, ACT, and more. While much of my work includes art therapy and a holistic approach, we will work together to find what will work best for you individually. No previous art experience is needed in art therapy! I can help you work toward the goals you have for counseling using a holistic, whole-person approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach to counseling is to view you as a whole person and support you through navigating the systems that are affecting you. Due to my personal background, I have a special interest in working with marginalized populations, people struggling with body image, and those living with chronic pain and chronic illness.
