About My Clients
You can be capable and self-aware and still feel overwhelmed by worry, perfectionism or a brain that will not cooperate. You may be a caregiver putting yourself last, a student under constant pressure or a professional struggling with burnout, ADHD or executive dysfunction. I work with adults who want to understand what is getting in the way, build confidence and create routines, boundaries and relationships that feel more sustainable.
My Background and Approach
My style is collaborative, curious and practical. We will identify the patterns behind a problem and translate insight into changes you can use outside the session. I draw from CBT, ACT, behavioral activation, solution-focused and parts-based work. We might simplify a routine, plan for a difficult conversation, experiment with an executive-functioning strategy or challenge the standards that keep you stuck in all-or-nothing thinking. I will gently challenge you, celebrate progress and offer several pathways when the first approach does not fit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should respect both your strengths and the effort it has taken to keep going. Many people arrive convinced they need more discipline when what they actually need is an approach designed around how they function, what they value and the demands they are carrying. I value curiosity over judgment and sustainable change over perfect performance. Our work can be structured without becoming rigid and practical without losing sight of the deeper story.
