If you’re feeling lost , overwhelmed or confused- we’ve all been there and you’ve come to the right place. The clients I typically work with are often seeking therapy to address challenging life circumstances and want to learn more sustainable ways of coping to feel better.
My Background and Approach
Lauren is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She has served in the mental health field for over a decade. Prior to beginning her private practice, she worked in group practice, day programs, inpatient units and hospice. She served as Clinical Director at the first holistic recovery center in Rhode Island which focused on treating addiction and assisted in the development of its intensive outpatient program. She is fully trained in EMDR through EMDRIA and completed several holistic trainings at Kripalu that complement her clinical work. Lauren uses an eclectic approach to therapy combining EMDR, DBT, ERP and mindfulness aimed at treating concerns related to trauma, depression, anxiety, maternal health, body image/eating disorders, phobias and OCD. Lauren’s focus is to meet clients where they are by joining them on their therapy journey. She does this by creating a safe environment and encouraging growth.
