About My Clients
As a CAT, I view artmaking as a means of expression, reflection, and connection. My work and my approach engender a sense of both curiosity and collaboration, and my goal is to help clients use creative forms of expression to explore and understand their emotional landscapes and inner worlds. I draw on an extensive educational background in visual art and psychology to support others in discovering new ways of seeing themselves and their stories.
My Background and Approach
My professional experiences span inpatient psychiatry, afterschool and community programs, and work with older adults; all of these settings have reinforced my belief that creativity can bolster a sense of agency and possibility. Whether it’s through painting, drawing, collaging, or creative and curious conversation, I try to create a therapeutic space that feels grounded and authentic, and where art becomes a language for transformation and growth. Alongside my clinical training at Pratt Institute, I bring a lifelong engagement with visual art and aesthetics to my work.
