I work with individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and relationship challenges. My Background and Approach
I earned my B.A.S. in psychology from Northwestern University and am currently completing my doctorate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western States University. My approach integrates Person-Centered therapy (honoring your unique experience), Solution-Focused interventions (helping you achieve specific goals), and psychodynamic techniques (exploring deeper patterns). This combination helps you build on your strengths while addressing root causes for lasting change. I bring both academic knowledge and genuine empathy to help you navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. My goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a safe space to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Mental health struggles don't discriminate, and seeking therapy is a courageous step toward growth and healing. I'm passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and believe that authenticity and self-acceptance are fundamental to wellbeing. Having navigated my own challenges with perfectionism and life transitions, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to ask for help. I'm committed to creating an inclusive, affirming environment where all clients feel valued and understood. I believe in the power of human resilience and that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. Outside of therapy, I value continuous learning and staying current with evidence-based practices.
