About My Clients
You may have found yourself here because you are seeking something - maybe relief from emotional pain, clarity of your goals, or support during a difficult time. Perhaps you are stressed by the demands of work or school, or are having difficulty coping with the uncertainty and drastic changes in the world. Maybe you are noticing that difficult feelings like anxiety or sadness are becoming more more constant fixtures in your life. Whatever your "mountain" is, you don't have to climb it alone.
My Background and Approach
*I offer telehealth only.* We can cultivate this space to be what you need - whether that’s skill building, processing experiences, or gaining deeper insight into yourself. My trauma-informed approach mostly tailors elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I draw upon other modalities as needed. I integrate evidenced-based and Mindfulness interventions in support of changing patterns of thoughts or behaviors that may be preventing you from living whole-heartedly. I cannot change where you started, but I can support you to develop strategies to help you decide where you are going next. My choice to be a telehealth-only provider is intentional; it removes traditional barriers to receiving support such as time, energy and transportation. It also allows me to offer services at a more affordable price due to avoiding costs associated with maintaining an office space, which aligns with my goal of improving access to quality care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The world is tough and life is tricky and sometimes we unintentionally internalize these experiences. Unfortunately, we often create even more hardships for ourselves by repeating patterns that continually yield unwanted outcomes. If this sounds familiar, it’s because you’re human! I am not a stranger to difficulty and stress, and I recognize the power that can exist sometimes in just being seen and validated in your experiences.
