About My Clients
I love working with people navigating bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, grief, OCD, and other mood challenges—especially those who feel deeply, think creatively, or sometimes feel misunderstood. Many of my clients are artists, musicians, and seekers who want more than symptom relief; they long for meaning, connection, and a way to express their inner world. Together, we create a safe, supportive space to find balance, build resilience, and move toward living with greater authenticity.
My Background and Approach
After accepting my queer identity and leaving my long-term position as a worship leader, I faced the challenge of getting to know myself again, finding a new life's purpose, and moving forward. I know from both training and lived experience how important it is to feel truly seen and understood in therapy. I bring both to our work together, creating a space that's grounded in knowledge, empathy, and genuine care for your growth and healing. I help clients explore and reimagine their stories through client-centered narrative therapy, creating space for new meaning and self-understanding. I also draw from mindfulness, feminist, and existential perspectives to support grounding, empowerment, and resilience on the path to authentic living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I recognize that the systems we live in were designed to benefit a specific identity. That, to help my clients pursue individual healing, it is my job as a clinician to be educated and involved in dismantling racist, heteronormative, supremacist systems.
