About My Clients
We feel pain in many ways; worry, anger, confusion, and sadness. Our past has taught us how to respond to these feelings. Problems start when the way we have learned to cope is no longer working for us. My goal is to help identify thoughts, emotions, and action patterns. I promote mindfulness, art therapy, mind-body connection, and cognitive behavioral change. From there, we can collaborate to work toward your goals and find a more fulfilling way to live.
My Background and Approach
I have experience working with teens to adults across a spectrum of issues, including substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, chronic illness, relationship issues, and difficult life transitions. The decision to start therapy means you're ready for something to be different. That can be scary, especially when doing so means talking to a stranger. However, finding someone to talk to outside of your daily life can provide you the space to be yourself openly and see things differently. I invite clients of all backgrounds and experiences to reach out!
