About My Clients
I work with children, teens, young adults, and adults to ease anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, ADHD, stress, and life transitions, helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their daily lives. I offer virtual therapy services to clients throughout Maryland, along with in-person therapy at our conveniently located Federal Hill office in Baltimore.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland, holding a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Children and Families from University of Maryland, Baltimore. In addition to private practice, I have provided therapy in a behavioral health clinic and Howard County public middle school. I adapt my approach to reflect the unique needs of each individual, drawing from several frameworks: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Arts, Feminist Therapy and Systems theory, and Internal Family Systems.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy with me means you’ll not only have a place to be heard, but an advocate who is truly invested in your growth and well-being. I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and have pursued extensive training in trauma-informed care and LGBTQ+ wellness. Additionally, I am especially passionate about racial justice, immigration rights, the LGBTQ+ community, and criminal justice reform/restorative justice practices. I volunteer with the MDSPCA. I believe that we are all connected, and in the words of Robin Wall Kimmerer, "all flourishing is mutual."
