About My Clients
My clients want to build stronger and more stable relationships where generational experiences with mental health challenges have previously caused struggles. Let's work to understand how growing up with your specific experiences might have impacted the adult or parent that you are today. Together, we can work to break harmful cycles that prevent you from being the best version of yourself.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an affirmative, strengths-based approach to customize a plan to meet your unique needs. I encourage my clients to let me know how I can provide the safest space for them to be their most authentic selves. I teach strategies for communication including expressing feelings effectively and emotional regulation skills that help you solve problems in day to day life. I utilize person-centered, solution-focused, trauma-focused CBT, and DBT to meet your individual needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm passionate about women's empowerment and gender equality. I volunteer with a local chapter of Girls on the Run which is an organization for 3rd - 8th grade girls who receive weekly small group lessons in self-esteem, anti-bullying, general health, and wellness while completing running exercises to work toward running a 5K at the end of the season. I also believe that we cannot have women's empowerment without LGBTQIA+ empowerment. All people deserve to live their life authentically.
