About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware adults who feel stuck. Many grew up with emotionally immature or unpredictable caregivers and now struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, or feeling “too much” or “not enough” in relationships. Others feel overwhelmed, have difficulty following through, or are hard on themselves for not functioning the way they think they “should.” I also work with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in conflict, or unsure how to find their way back to each other.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained in EMDR, ACT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, with a focus on helping you understand not just what’s happening, but why. I specialize in attachment trauma, ADHD-related overwhelm, and relationship distress. Together, we’ll look at the patterns that developed earlier in your life—often as ways of coping—and how they may be showing up now in your relationships, self-worth, or daily functioning. I integrate insight with practical tools so you can begin making changes that actually stick. This might include processing past experiences through EMDR, building psychological flexibility through ACT, or improving communication and connection in your relationship. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident in yourself, and more connected in your life—without needing to be perfect to get there.
