About My Clients
I’m passionate about helping women, children, teens, and families navigate life’s difficult seasons with compassion and practical support. With specialized training in perinatal mental health, trauma-focused therapy, and adoption, I bring both professional experience and a genuine understanding of the challenges families face. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they find their path forward.
My Background and Approach
With a background in education and social work, I bring a unique perspective to therapy and a passion for helping people feel understood and supported. I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), perinatal mental health, and adoption-competent care, with experience supporting children, teens, mothers, and families through challenging transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I don’t believe therapy is about “fixing” you—you are not broken. I believe therapy provides a safe space to slow down, understand what you’re carrying, build practical tools, and feel empowered to move forward. I meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their individual needs, strengths, and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and therapy should be a partnership rather than a place where someone tells you what to do. I believe people are resilient, capable of growth, and deserving of compassion—especially during the seasons when life feels overwhelming. I believe there is no “perfect” way to be a parent, partner, or person. We all carry experiences that shape how we navigate the world, and sometimes we need a safe place to process them. My goal is to walk alongside you without judgment, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in creating a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and empowered.
