About My Clients
Those who need to be reminded of their intrinsic worth--those who are feeling overwhelmed by the busyness of life or the stuck in their circumstances-- those who are looking for hope and healing--any who are seeking more peace in their day-to-day lives-- these are the clients I sit with every day. I am honored to sit with you in your pain and help you walk through it to the other side. Whether it's basic tools for reducing anxiety or more in-depth trauma interventions, I am here to help!
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate, I work with adolescents and adults who face a variety of mental health struggles. From Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to Major Depressive Disorder and PTSD, I bring an eclectic therapeutic approach to the table to meet the individual needs of each unique client. Some of my most used modalities are Adlerian Therapy, CBT, Strengths-Focused therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I also teach basic grounding work and coping mechanisms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian and offer faith-based counseling to clients who request it. As I hold to the ACA Code of Ethics (2014), I never impose my personal beliefs on a client. I respect clients of all racial backgrounds and have enjoyed multiple volunteer experiences of working with those of varied ethnic backgrounds in different countries around the world.
