About My Clients
I can find a way to help your child and family explore their world through the modality of play and relational experience in therapy. The overwhelming feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, and conflict that builds in yourself and relationships can keep you feeling stuck and like there is no way out. Through providing a safe space for you and your child to learn more about themselves and for you to learn more about them, there are endless possibilities to do things differently and find relief.
My Background and Approach
My focus is on providing family and play therapy using child-centered play therapy with parental support. If your child is struggling and you feel stuck on how to help them, I'm here to work with you and your child by using the power of play to create change towards a healthier way of relating and being. I have experience in providing child and family therapy in my clients homes to address mental health symptoms in the child's natural environment. I am working towards becoming a registered play therapist (RPT) and an independent MFT since I believe in the how play provides the words to their struggles and experience while also focusing on how the family can contribute to the healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a parent, it can be overwhelming to find the right therapist for everyone involved, so feel free to reach out via email or phone to start the conversation on how I can collaborate with you, your child, and family. It's important to me that you find what works for everyone and build a relationship that focuses on what you all need.
