About My Clients
Life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes it's difficult for us to manage those waves. Have you noticed a change in yourself in your ability to face life's obstacles? Has it become harder for you to stay focused or motivated? Are there different, swirling thoughts going on in your mind that you can't seem to manage? I like to meet clients where they are, exploring their thoughts and feelings, & collaborating on steps toward the relief you seek.
My Background and Approach
I utilize skills from different therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, & Person Centered Therapy. I believe offering different ideas and tools from different approaches offers a certain flexibility for your needs as we work together on a way forward. I aim to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where you are free to express your thoughts and feelings. We can collaborate on finding realistic and approachable goals to reach an improved state. It takes strength and courage to recognize a need for support in your journey to a better you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change can happen for anyone at anytime in their lives. Much of how we currently think and operate in our daily lives has been learned through our experiences, and acknowledging that these ways of operating are no longer suiting us is an important first step. We can all use support to learn more effective ways to cope and I'm here to help you in this process.
