About My Clients
Being a mother is challenging. You have more worries, less time, and no room for "self-care." You may question your abilities, your partner, your career path, and more. You may even be anxious about delivering your baby. Have you completely lost yourself in a sea of stress, worry, and sadness? You are not alone. I am a mother, wife, and survivor of perinatal anxiety. I understand the fluctuating hormones that can cause our mood disturbances. I want to help you to manage your anxiety, replace you
My Background and Approach
As a mother and wife, I know how you feel. I am passionate about helping women and mothers work through issues related to pregnancy, loss, anxiety, trauma, divorce, postpartum depression, and much more. I also specialize in work with couples and families using evidence-based approaches. I received my Master of Family Therapy at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. My training at Mercer University allowed me to treat clients in a medical center and private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You’re probably hesitant to share your private and painful feelings. This is why I make it my job to provide a safe, judge-free space for you to feel validated and empowered. Growth through therapy is based on the trust and understanding between the client and their therapist. So my approach will fit your unique needs. Then you will have new insights into your mental struggles and a plan to tackle them.
