About My Clients
I have a passion for working with perinatal clients—those experiencing the transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. This season of life brings both beauty and challenge, often stirring up complex emotions, identity shifts, and unexpected struggles. I work with clients to process these experiences, whether they are navigating postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, or the emotional weight of new parenthood.
My Background and Approach
My experience has allowed me to support individuals facing depression, anxiety, perinatal/postpartum mood disorders, grief, relational struggles, domestic violence, racial trauma, and life transitions. I believe healing past wounds is key to becoming the best version of ourselves—our past does not have to define our future. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing space where you can process, heal, and grow. I take a culturally responsive, strengths-based approach, helping clients build self-acceptance and empowerment. My work is grounded in humanistic therapy, emphasizing your unique experience and potential for growth. I also integrate Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support meaningful change. Seeking therapy takes courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to providing a compassionate, inclusive, and culturally responsive space for healing. I support body positivity and mental health awareness, especially for those navigating body image concerns, perinatal/postpartum experiences, and identity struggles. My work is person-centered, recognizing how race, gender, and lived experiences shape our healing journeys. I believe in the power of human connection and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. My goal is to help individuals build self-acceptance and resilience as they move toward growth and healing.
