About My Clients
Do you "have it all together" on the outside, but on the inside, feel like you are falling apart? Perhaps you find yourself in a cycle of looking ahead to the next milestone or achievement–graduating college, landing a high-paying job, getting married–as the one that will bring true happiness…only to be let down when you get there and realize you still feel like something is missing. If so, you're not alone. You deserve to live a life feeling calm and confident–and I want to help you get there.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, my passion lies in helping you target the impact of anxiety and engage in identity development to help foster a better understanding of yourself, your values, and your goals. Through weekly sessions, using a variety of evidence-based modalities, I will work with you to develop coping skills, set healthier boundaries, and explore the ways that past life experiences, culture, and factors such as privilege and oppression influence decision-making and overall wellbeing. I take a non-pathologizing approach to mental health and hold strongly to the belief that the person is not the problem, the problem is the problem. I honor diversity, am LGBTQ+ affirming, and strive to be culturally sensitive.
