About My Clients
Do you live with chronic pain and are exhausted from constantly pushing through in order to function? Have you felt the stress from managing your symptoms that seems to make your pain even worse? I know the feeling of being stuck in the cycle of pain, stress, and burnout. Somatic and mindfulness based therapy can reduce your stress and your pain, and I want to help people finally life the life they want beyond the pain and stress cycle.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I worked and volunteered in domestic violence shelters supporting and advocating for survivors. I had a 14 year career as a massage therapist and yoga instructor. During that time, I trained with the TIMBo Collective in the Trauma-Informed Mind Body program, and I have subsequently led many groups, trained other facilitators, and created and led my own trauma-informed yoga training curriculum in Northwest Arkansas. Mindfulness and somatic based therapies are an integral part of my approach to therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a neurodivergent, disabled mom, and I am passionate about helping other neurodivergent and/or disabled parents. I am an LGBTQ ally. I am an advocate for social justice in my professional and personal time, and I am dedicated to providing inclusive and affirming care. I am a gardener, novice herbalist, and I will offer you a cup of tea.
