About My Clients
I love my clients. They’re often dealing with anxiety, depression, racial and other micro-aggressions, change, grief, trauma, relationship & family issues, and job stress, as well as the general angst of modern life and living in a city.
My Background and Approach
I did my MA in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I’ve been seeing clients since 2013. Whatever else we’re working on, I’m always working to increase my clients’ self-acceptance, self-respect, self-kindness, and self-love. I encourage them to get curious about themselves. I help my clients to remember their strengths and increase their resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Part of my philosophy of therapy is that if I can’t laugh with someone, I don’t want to cry with them, either. I do both with my clients. I also believe we can learn a lot from nature about how to live. To me, therapy is about working toward wholeness, recovering and rediscovering your essential self, and expanding and deepening how you respond to the inevitable changes, transitions, and hills and valleys of life.
