About My Clients
I work primarily with women experiencing anxiety, impacts of trauma, relationship issues, and family conflict. I also specialize in working with adults who are navigating difficult dynamics with family members who struggle with addiction. Whether you are looking to explore the difficulties you are facing, want to develop new coping tools, work on boundary setting, or want to break out of unhealthy habits and develop more agency in your life, I provide a welcoming environment for you to do so.
My Background and Approach
I have several years of experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. During my time in college, I worked on a crisis hotline and created a multicultural music and arts organization providing a space for self-expression. After entering into the mental health field, I worked with college students at a university counseling center and then with individuals at a group practice. These experiences have all informed my approach to care. I incorporate psychodynamic, attachment, and inner child work to explore how early relational experiences affect how we navigate as adults. My style is integrative in that I also pull from CBT, DBT, and ACT to implement tools for coping, regulation, and improving relationships. Through values of empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity, I aim to build a non-judgmental, safe, and trusting therapeutic relationship in order for positive changes to occur.
