About My Clients
You’ve tried to control food, but it’s been controlling you. You restrict, binge, promise to “be good tomorrow,” and end up back in the same cycle — guilt, rules, obsession, shame. You run miles to make up for it, or can’t stop thinking about what you ate or should eat. You’re scared to lose control… or scared you never will. You’ve read the books and followed the accounts, but nothing sticks because deep down, letting go feels terrifying.
My Background
I’m a licensed therapist, licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist helping teens and adults heal their relationship with food, body, and weight. I’m down-to-earth, sometimes funny, a little sarcastic, and very real. My approach is direct, compassionate, and focused on actual results, I don't believe in endless talk therapy or toxic positivity. I use EMDR, ERP, ACT, and FBT within a HAES and trauma-informed lens to address the roots of anxiety, OCD, and disordered eating. I’ve been where you are, and I know recovery is messy but worth it. In therapy, we’ll challenge food rules, quiet the noise, and build trust with your body again. I believe in small, realistic steps that lead to freedom, not perfection. If you’re ready to stop living by guilt and rules and start living your life, let’s talk.
More About the People I Treat
I work with teens and adults who feel trapped in cycles of restriction, bingeing, purging, overexercise, or obsessive thoughts about food and body. My clients are smart, high-achieving, and often exhausted from trying to “do recovery right.” Many struggle with OCD, anxiety, or perfectionism beneath the surface , constantly chasing control while feeling out of control. Some are new to recovery; others have been in and out of treatment and just want something that finally works. I also support parents who feel lost trying to help their teen. Whether you’re terrified to let go of the rules or desperate to stop fighting your body, I’ll meet you where you are. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to show up and get real. We’ll build skills, compassion, and confidence so you can start living a life that isn’t ruled by food, fear, or guilt.
