About My Clients
I am passionate about supporting clients with setting boundaries and living more authentic lives. I particularly enjoy working with clients who believe they are “too sensitive” or “too much,” and helping to reframe sensitivity as a gift. I also enjoy working with clients that utilize psychedelic medicines and other altered states of consciousness in their healing practice, and would like professional support with integration.
My Background and Approach
My therapy style is collaborative - I center my work around your unique goals and pacing. I use strengths-based approaches to ensure that your accomplishments, resources, and strengths are acknowledged and appreciated. I utilize Person Centered Therapy, Liberation Psychology, Existential Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness in supporting clients move towards their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I use a social justice framework and look at the ways in which sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, ableism, and other forms of oppression impact mental health. I am passionate about supporting clients in creating narratives of their identities and experiences that are validating and empowering. I strive to help clients build community, so they are resourced in and out of the therapy room.
