About My Clients
Thoughtful, capable clients navigating fertility, pregnancy, or postpartum who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike themselves. They may be managing loss, birth trauma, or the quiet identity shifts of becoming a parent. They’re often used to coping well, but this season feels different, more complex, more emotional, and harder to move through alone.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in perinatal mental health, with over a decade of experience supporting families from fertility through early parenthood. My background includes work as a lactation consultant and sleep consultant, which allows me to understand not just the emotional experience, but the practical realities of life with a baby. My approach is steady, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence based care and real-life context. I draw from relational and parts informed frameworks, with a strong foundation in attachment based work and CBT, always tailored to each client’s unique experience. Therapy with me is a place to slow things down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and find a way forward that feels more supported, clear, and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the transition into parenthood is one of the most profound identity shifts a person can experience and that it deserves care that is both emotionally attuned and grounded in real life. I have a particular understanding of mothers navigating the perinatal journey without the partnership or support structure they had planned for, and I bring that lived experience into my work with quiet intention. I value work that honors autonomy, informed choice, and the full complexity of each family's path including nontraditional and queer family building. Outside of my work, I'm drawn to movement, creativity, and time in the garden. I value a slower, more intentional pace of life and the small, meaningful moments that create steadiness and connection.
