About My Clients

I'm experienced in working with individuals who are active in alternative lifestyles, in various relationships such as polyamory, open, casual, monogamy, etc. Who identify as LGBTQAP+. I'm experienced working with individuals who want to form a healthier relationship with their authentic selves mind & body, individuals who struggle with self discovery, boundaries, attachment, family conflict, gender identity, sexual orientation, trauma, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, stress.

My Background and Approach

Together we will work side by side to help strengthen your confidence, awareness, insight, healing, and make progress within yourself. As a Sex positive, Kink knowledgeable, and Gender affirming therapist I understand that we are all different, and provide a laid back atmosphere. I focus on helping people resolve current problems. To focus on TODAY. It's no about revisiting the past, but understanding how it can affect the now, and making the changes you need to move forward. My style of therapy is proactive, direct without being unkind, encouraging without pressuring, and easing into the new mentally, physically, one step at a time. I utilize EMDR, Expressive Arts Therapy, Somatic expressive art therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Gestalt therapy, Narrative therapy, Motivational interviewing, Mindfulness/Relaxation.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our relationship, our sense of self is the foundation for overcoming any obstacles that we face in our life. It's important to befriend, to confront, to face our own selves. We can be our best friend, and even our worst enemy. I believe in helping others build an understanding about not only themselves, their identity, their relationships, and the relationship they have with sex. I believe taking time to get to know ourselves physically and internally is important. Getting to know the relationships we have with food, with our bodies. I believe in supporting, encouraging, and empowering you. I view mental health just as important as physical health. When an injury/illness occurs, seeking professional intervention, guidance, and support can improve overall wellness.
