About My Clients
I work primarily with young adults to treat clinical issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, identity, & self-esteem. I facilitate the therapeutic process by asking thought provoking questions as well as engaging in active listening so that my clients feel both validated as well as challenged. This is how I believe change occurs. Through curiosity, determination, and patience, I help my clients to become the best version of themselves.
My Background and Approach
My approach to treatment combines evidence-based treatment models like CBT and psychodynamic therapy with holistic interventions such as mindfulness and health coaching to create a well-rounded, balanced, effective state of healing. My therapy style is largely solution-focused and is uniquely tailored to each individual’s wants and needs. Utilizing an integrative model of CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic perspectives, I provide therapy through a holistic lens, aiming to see my clients from a full picture rather than just their symptomatology. I have specialized training in both TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy), as well as certification in Holistic Health Counseling. My dynamic approach incorporates these trainings as well as the mind, body, and spirit into the therapeutic process to allow my clients to understand and analyze their past, be present in the here and now, and see positive changes for the future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being born and raised in Los Angeles has hugely shaped me and my approach to health. Staying active, fit, and healthy is not just a lifestyle, it’s a way of being – both in the body and in the mind. I’ve found countless ways in which the mind-body connection can be utilized to increase an overall sense of health and happiness. Using food and movement as medicine, my holistic approach shows time and time again that where the mind goes, the body flows, and vice versa.
