About My Clients

I work collaboratively with teens and adults to help them feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to themselves and their communities. I specialize in supporting folks with anxiety/depression needs and am especially passionate about working with folks who are seeking a provider with LGBTQIA+ Lived Experience . My clients are usually nature and animal lovers since I integrate ecotherapy nature-based and animal-assisted approaches into sessions.

My Background and Approach

I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2015 with a concentration in Transformative Social Work. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Vermont and am currently both a Clinician (therapist) and Clinical Supervisor at Vermont Center for Resiliency. I work with several therapy dog “co-therapists” (non-shedding Labradoodles) to provide Animal-Assisted Therapy. My practice also includes walk-and-talk outdoor ecotherapy. I practice from Person-Centered, Strengths-Based, Relational, Trauma-Informed and Expressive frameworks. I work together with clients to try out different therapeutic approaches and strive to empower people to learn what feels best for their unique brain, body and heart.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a deep personal commitment to honoring diversity, am an anti-racist social worker rooted in social justice and is striving to grow and learn. I am passionate about working with folks in the Recovery and LGBTQIA+ communities. I believe in the power and strength of Lived Experience and Intersectionality (and am Queer/Genderfluid). I believe we all need connection and support to overcome hurdles and grow. I would be honored to work together with you to co-create goals and identify what makes you feel like your most authentic and healthy self. I am currently only taking new patients who are 18+. If you are curious about Animal Assisted Therapy and the way our work together could help you send a message or call (802)865-3450 ext 925 to connect.
