About My Clients
With cross-cultural expertise, a deeply personal understanding of spirituality, and years of experience as a community-based researcher, I bring care and compassion to my therapeutic work. I specialize in seeing couples and adolescents, and I particularly enjoy working with women recovering from trauma. I help clients find freedom and resolution in the midst of struggles so they can more fully enjoy their lives and sense of purpose.
My Background and Approach
I received my masters degree from Southern Connecticut State University and my PhD from St. Mary's University. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and my counseling approach integrates systemic, strategic, and Gestalt therapies. In addition to serving as Twin Lakes Counseling's Clinical Director, I am also on the teaching faculty of the Couple and Family Therapy program at Antioch University Seattle.
