Services
About My Clients
Currently, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy services to diverse client populations with an emphasis on those predisposed to disenfranchised and/or complex traumas & chronic stress, such as the military population, their dependents, 2SLGBTQ+ & BIPOC populations.
My Background and Approach
My work background otherwise includes a range of roles providing services & support for higher-acuity adults and children; working with a myriad of populations, such as: ADSM & veterans, those displaced, undocumented or unhoused, those with co-occurring substance use disorders, disordered eating, OCD, families experiencing low-equity/barriers to access, and caretakers for hospice/palliative patients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I tailor my approach to the HUMAN sitting in front of me and their needs. I value engaging, conceptualizing, & supporting my clients from a relational, integrative approach - blending liberation-oriented practices, anti-oppressive interventions, and trauma-informed approaches to aid in each client(s) within their intersectional contexts & journeys. I aim to provide education and normalization to generational, inherited, and institutionalized traumas, racialized social messages, colorism & gendered constructs, biases & impacts on access to care, resources, and safety. I am steadfast in advocating for my clients within policy, community, and coordination with their other providers for well-rounded, congruent care.
