About My Clients
My hope for my clients is that they find this space a place of warmth, kindness, & feel heard. For the past decade I have worked closely with clients going through or supporting someone with a cancer diagnosis. Which brings many facets to the space, therapy is not a one size fits all and I want to always leave room for what feels most authentic to you.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Colorado with a certification in Oncology Social Work. I received my undergraduate from Texas Woman's University and my graduate from Our Lady of the Lake University. My overall career goal was to have the opportunity to work with Cancer Patients. I am so fortunate to currently be working in this space and have been for the past decade. After receiving my clinical license, I branched out and tried telehealth and fell in love. I work with clients facing/surviving cancer, caregivers, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and end-of-life. My approach varies depending on who you are as an individual and what works best for you. It's important to me to build a strong rapport with my clients, offering a safe and supporting environment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has exactly what they need already within them. Many times, through life events, stressors, health crisis, upbringing we lose sight of us. I believe in meeting you where you are at and leaning heavily into your strengths. Let's meet virtually in the comfort of your own space.
