Many of my clients are used to holding a lot together in their daily lives and are starting to feel the strain. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, poor sleep, or a mind that doesn’t fully shut off, even when things look fine on the outside. For some, this has been building for years, or things are starting to feel harder to manage. This is a space to slow down, feel heard, and take a more active, collaborative role in your care.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. That background shapes a grounded, practical approach to care. I provide integrative psychiatric care that combines medication management with evidence-based strategies, including CBT-I for insomnia. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to prescribing, including adjusting or simplifying medications when appropriate. My style is collaborative and straightforward. I’ll offer guidance and clinical expertise while making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and involved in each decision.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to collaborate with you by offering education, clinical insight, and options so you can make informed decisions about your care. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Mental health is influenced by sleep, stress, life circumstances, and biology, and all of that deserves attention. You won’t be rushed or talked over here. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported in finding what actually works for you.
