OCD is a highly misunderstood and misdiagnosed disorder, and, sadly, this means that many individuals suffer unnecessarily for years before getting help. I've had countless people arrive in my office feeling hopeless because nothing they've tried before has helped, and I am so grateful I can offer them newfound hope through treatment for OCD that actually works.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders, with a focus on using evidence-based treatments, such as exposure and response prevention (ERP). I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach to my work with clients and believe that by working together, the most effective solution can be found. As OCD and anxiety related problems can impact the whole family, I also provide behaviorally based coaching to family members. If you ruminate over intrusive thoughts, engage in rituals that only temporarily relieve your anxiety, and spend countless hours trying to use logic to talk yourself out of irrational thoughts (but continue to experience anxiety anyway), you're probably in the right place.
