About My Clients
Suffering from self-defeating thoughts and behaviors? Stuck in patterns that don't serve you well? I help people turn these kinds of things around every day and would love to help you sort things out and begin to feel better as well. I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds, but primarily women who have experienced adverse life experiences such as child and domestic abuse. I'm currently accepting new clients and would love to hear from you.
My Background and Approach
I use a holistic, trauma informed, strengths based approach to counseling which involves careful, caring listening and non-judgment. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic styles and techniques, I work to help my clients understand their symptoms and to overcome them to achieve a more balanced and healthy life. Therapeutic orientations that I most strongly draw from include cognitive behavioral, dialectical, solution focused, and motivational enhancement as well as EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all lives have equal value, but unfortunately that isn't reflected in the world we live in.
